TR3 APARTMENTS / BOGOTA / 2015 - 2018
This residential building is located on the eastern hills of Bogotá, offering extraordinary views of both the city and the surrounding hills. Rising in a neighborhood dominated by tiled houses, the building stands out prominently. From the outset, we envisioned creating a striking vertical element that would emerge from the site like a stone monolith in a valley.
The architecture is defined by simple geometry and a natural dark brown color. The façades are thoughtfully composed to achieve a balance between solid and void, allowing light and shadow to interplay within the apartments. Each façade has its own distinctive character: the south façade is slim and sharp, accentuated by vertical lines; the eastern façade takes full advantage of the morning sun and views of the hills; while the western façade steps down, creating a series of elongated balconies that receive the warm afternoon sun.
The building's program includes 39 apartment units, three parking levels, a spa, meeting rooms, and a barbecue area.
